Pumpkins

Tonight was the night to carve! We have a decepticon (for Greg), a jack-o-lantern (for Claire) and an autobot (for Grant). Gregory was the most into actually helping. He scooped out most of the innards....and then counted all of his seeds (288) for a class assignment. Claire wanted nothing to do with the goo....too yucky! And Grant wasn't too into it either. It's much more fun to watch Daddy do all the work :)

Happy Halloween!

Don't get me wrong...

I love Thomas the train, Hot Wheels and Transformers, but.... it's so much fun having a little girl around! She brings out the little girl in me, too :)

Happy Weekend, friends!

BTW~Claire told me these two were brothers...heehee!

a trick, a treat and Claire-isms

Check out my little Stunt man...

I love that he was smiling for the picture...that takes a lot of concentration!
Have you ever heard of these? I hadn't but the cute, vintage image on the wrapper caught my eye. Then, since I LOVE candy, I read the bag....molasses (yum) candy with peanut butter (double yum). They are soo good! They remind me of Bit-O-Honey candy bars, which I love :)
And, I just wanted to write a couple of things that Claire is saying these days so I don't forget!
1. Du-Du Dora: Dora the Explorer.
2. Tickle spiders: those huge gross spiders that people put on their houses this time of year.
3. Happy to-you: Happy Birthday. :)

I love book fairs

Last week Gregory's school was having a book fair and I helped out for a couple of hours. Anyway, we got three super fun books: the third Skippyjohnjones~love it! Knuffle Bunny Too which is ABSOLUTELY adorable and Claire's new fave, and this Wall-E chapter book. Of course I love that he pulled it out right after we got home and started reading!
And, speaking of reading, this is how I found these two last night.

Well, nothing much going on around here today, trying to get some cleaning done. I just whacked my face with the mop as I was trying to replace the mop head! I even had a fleeting thought right before it happened that I should be careful about pulling that sucker off, and then SMACK! I hope I don't get a bruise....lovely :)
Have a great Friday!

Pajama day

I had a sickie home from school today...actually he was doing great today! Yesterday, though, was another story! I got a call from his school at about 9:45 just as we got on the bridge to go to the Tri Cities. I totally did not expect to get that call! I turned right around and headed to RH. About 15 min after we all got home, he threw up. Talk about good timing!! I'm so glad he didn't get sick at school! He proceeded to throw everything up he ate all day...thankfully he slept through the night and seems to have made a complete recovery. Gregory was sad that he wasn't going to school because he had to miss wearing his PJ's for Spirit week. So he decided to have PJ day at home (and Walmart~not sure if you noticed, Miss Tammy) :) Anyway, I am soo glad that he is better...now I am praying the rest of us won't get it!

Hoping you are healthy, I know there is a lot going around right now. Have a good night!

LOL

You'd better not be laughing....I'm talking Locks Of Love, baby!! This is the shortest I have ever gone. I have to admit, I feel a little like this:

no offense, Julia, but NOT the look I was going for! ;)

Tomorrow I will be driving my hair here. It was one year ago when my friend Erin did this and I decided that I would participate this year! A GREAT cause, and I am thrilled to help with my 10 inches!!

Pumpkins!

We went and got our first pumpkins of the season today! I'm sure there will be quite a few more that will be added soon! I LOVE the way they look by the front door....and now I have the Jack-O poem in my head (from preschool). Angela said that Grant's pumpkin looks like an onion....it does, doesn't it? He was very attached to that itty bitty one! :)

Happy day, friends!

Kiddo pictures from Rebecca...

Here is the 4th annual picture of the Lundahl and Anderson kids at Sunriver!

Natalie and Claire (aka Dooya to Natalie)

The big kids

And this one just cracks me up! Here are my parents with all 10 kids :) The look on Gregory's face says it all about how much fun it is to try and get everyone to look in the same direction at the same time! Ha!
