Just wanted to share...

how God has been leading in my life. In the midst of all of the change of Fall, I never signed up for a Bible study which I was really looking forward to. Instead, I just showed up at our church last Wednesday night for dinner and to take Gregory to KidZone. It was amazing how fast it happened, but before I realized, I was volunteering to help out with the kids program. It was so neat how it happened: I took Gregory in to the sanctuary for choir and ended up leaving with a little boy who was too young for choir. When I took him back to his Mommy, (who happens to be the director of KidZone) she asked me if I was going to go to Bible study. I told her that I hadn't signed up but was planning on going anyway. I could sense, though, that she needed help so I told her that I could help out with the kids instead. Two minutes later, I was thinking "why did I do this"?! But about a half an hour into the program, I was sitting with my table of kids and I just KNEW that God wanted me there! It was so awesome! Knowing that I am in His will is just the most amazing feeling. So, I am really looking forward to Wednesday nights to see what He has in store! The only downside to helping with the kids is that I am not taking part in the Bible study which I usually love! (And, that I am really in need of!) Yesterday, though, I was looking at Beth Moore's blog and read about a book that I think I am going to order for my devotion time. And again, I felt like the Lord was leading me and I am just so thankful for that!
