We just made it home...so glad to be here after the long drive but not sure if I'm quite ready to get back into daily living. It was just so good to have a break spend some fun time with our great friends: playing games, laughing, letting the kids watch too much TV ;), watching our kids play together and further develop their friendships (love that!), drinking coffee, eating ice cream, going for walks and celebrating Doug's Birthday...Happy Birthday again! The weather was awesome. Not at all what was forcasted and we weren't complaining. However, last night a huge storm blew in and I thought our house was going to either blow apart or be swept into the sea!! The power went out for a bit...a little scary but thankfully the kids all slept right through.
