This time of year.

Today I am just feeling so TIRED. It was such a fun day...the kind that I always look forward to: snow on the ground, tons of playing with my kids outside with NO WIND and gorgeous skies. But for some reason I just feel like I can't entirely enjoy myself. I'm not sure if it's because we have been sick for the past two weeks~and I need to get out, or if it's because I'm just missing Cam. Tax season is here. Last year I went into it with such a good attitude and I am trying to have that same outlook, but so far I haven't succeeded. Tonight I just hated to watch him leave! Don't get me wrong! We knew what we were getting into when he decided to go into accounting, and I don't want people to feel sorry for us. It's just that at this point I am not used to having him gone so much. In a couple more weeks, I know, that our new schedule will seem normal and I will be fine. And then by the end of tax season, I'm always kinda like "hey, that's my remote!" ;)

On a better note, my amazing friend Jennifer (sorry, I can't give you a link on her name because she doesn't have a blog....yet ;)) totally inspired me to get back on my treadmill. She is such a good friend. One that is always encouraging, never judgemental, real, and just such a special person to me! I can't really say I'm on a roll yet, but I did get up early on Friday and Today to go into the freezing garage and exercize. I have always enjoyed exercizing but have not done it in so long. So it feels really good to get back out there and do something that has been nagging at me for a while!

Here are some pictures of the snow and for the month:

Our house number. Isn't that sky just perfect?!
Our arbovita-sp? bushes which look like they'll never recover!
We were finally able to build a snowman. We tried this morning but the snow was so dry that it didn't work. After naps, though, the snow was a little melty and it worked tons better. So we made "Snowball Soup Man" as Grant called him. We have a book about a snowman and his snowball soup so, I guess, that was our theme :)
And this picture just makes me want to cry. See, I am just so emotional! Anyway, it would be a happy cry at this point. Love them!!

Love to you all!
