Happy Monday

Today was such a good "normal" day. We didn't go anywhere (except for Gregory going to school) and that was really nice. I just need days like today every once in a while. I got so much done around here. Cleaning, laundry, made this soup (which took for-e-ver) and even washed my truck! Here are a couple of pictures of things that made me smile today. This picture of Claire that Shannon emailed. It was taken at her sweet friend Piper's Birthday Tea on Saturday! This picture is actually from a few days ago...but isn't that bird's nest so sweet? It's in our next door neighbor's front yard.
And these two birds seem to be watching over the nest from our front yard. Not really sure, but maybe they have a better vantage point to watch for any unfriendly intruders??? They are always there!
And LOOK what I got in the mail today!! To me, this is one of the best things that could come in the mail :) I posted a comment on Roree's blog the other day and she picked my name out to send me a prize! I LOVE it! Gorgeous papers, fun chipboard shapes and a CARDS magazine! But that's not all.......

And here is my adorable husband tackling the massive amount of laundry that had been piling up all day! Now he is back at work so wasn't that sweet of him to do some chores for me while he was here?! I didn't think that was my love language, but maybe so!!
