I love book fairs

Last week Gregory's school was having a book fair and I helped out for a couple of hours. Anyway, we got three super fun books: the third Skippyjohnjones~love it! Knuffle Bunny Too which is ABSOLUTELY adorable and Claire's new fave, and this Wall-E chapter book. Of course I love that he pulled it out right after we got home and started reading!
And, speaking of reading, this is how I found these two last night.

Well, nothing much going on around here today, trying to get some cleaning done. I just whacked my face with the mop as I was trying to replace the mop head! I even had a fleeting thought right before it happened that I should be careful about pulling that sucker off, and then SMACK! I hope I don't get a bruise....lovely :)
Have a great Friday!

Oh and for those who are wondering where Grant was...he was busy ridding the world (our house) of evil Decepticons and "bad guys"...or going potty...or both, I can't remember exactly.

I LOVE BOOK FAIRS TOO! Mylah had one about two weeks ago and we bought five books for twenty bucks. We too bought a Skippyjohnjones book, all of those are hilarious! Have a great weekend.

I just read this morning on Paula's Ponderings about the thinge she enjoys about blogging, and one of them was falling in love with other people's children, and I know what she means. Thank you for sharing your beautiful children with us, Katie. I adore them!

But I have to confess to having a giggle at the image of you whacking your face with the mop!! Not that I would wish you ill, ever, but you know what I mean!! lol ;o)

hugs,
Chris xx

What a sweet, sweet post..and what a life-long gift books and reading are!!1 I LOVE your new banner...you are so very talented and creative! I hope so much you are able to escape a bruise...isn't it funny how sometimes thoughts like that pop right into our head right before something happens. I always wonder if the Holy Spirit is talking and I'm not being that good at listening :D Have a wonderful, warm, snuggly family weekend! Sweet blessings!
