Halloween and Portland

What a weekend! I was so disappointed when Grant and I got sick at the end of the week...but, we ended up having a great Halloween and a fun time in Portland!

Claire-Bear, Red Power Ranger and Optimus Prime all ready to go!

They had sooo much fun trick or treating down Main Street and then on our block :) I think Cam and I had just as much fun as them.
Had to add this picture so you could see the big bear booty! So cute to watch her waddling around :)

Then, on Halloween night, at about 8:00, we hit the rode for Grandma and Grandpa's! We had 5 pieces of candy left in our bowl...perfect!

On Saturday morning, my Mom and I ran over to IKEA and I got this for the boys' room. They needed a little extra spot for bedtime books/flashlights. They haven't seen it yet but I think they are going to love it :)

Then Saturday afternoon/evening, Cam and I went to the Dave Ramsey conference. It was great!

This morning before heading home, Grandma made a family favorite: German pancakes! Here are a few pictures that Cam took of Grant while he was eating...the only pics we took all weekend :(
yay!

oh yeah!

mmmmm!

German Pancakes

6 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 cup butter

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Melt butter in a 9x13 pan in the oven. When butter has melted, turn pan to coat the bottom. Mix all other ingredients until smooth; add butter and then pour mixture into the pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Serve with syrup, powdered sugar and a squeeze of fresh lemon.

Hope you have a great Sunday evening and a wonderful week!
