- We got up about 7:oo~the boys woke up at about 6:30 but we didn't get up that early!!
- Door #25 was opened by Daddy on our Advent calendar!
- Then we opened our stockings.
- Next was breakfast. Grant didn't quite understand that the faster we ate, the faster we would get to our presents...when I asked if anyone wanted eggs...he totally went for it :) So Grant and I had eggs...everyone else had cereal so they had to wait for us!
- Presents!! We opened one at a time....great for keeping track....but seriously, if anyone had any tips for helpiing my kids with patience, I'd be eternally grateful!! ;)
- Then around 10:30/11, I was cooking like a mad woman while Cam furiously unwrapped all of those ridiculously packaged presents.
- We ate our turkey dinner around 1...yummy (although my turkey is never as good as your's, Mom)
- Then it was naptime for Grant and Claire.
- Later on we went to see The Tale of Despereaux (weirdly cute and a little scary).
- Then we came home for dinner and Birthday cake for Jesus.
- Bedtime for the kids came quickly after some more play time.
- Cam and I cleaned up!
- Then we sat down and watched Get Smart....I laughed SO hard....LOVED it!!
We had a great day celebrating the birth of Jesus, being together and having FUN!!
The day after Christmas is pretty fun too :)
I caught Greg reading his new book this morning...I love it when I find him reading :)
And these two....how could I not take their picture?! My little knight and his princess.I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas too!
